MD Enertech Ltd was appointed to deliver the comprehensive mechanical services installation for the new £10 million Portsmouth City Centre Travelodge. Constructed on a brownfield site in the heart of the city, this standalone 11-storey development expands Travelodge's premium Travelodge Plus offering, located within easy reach of Portsmouth University and HM Naval Base.
Our team executed the complete mechanical fit-out across all guest bedrooms, linen rooms, staff facilities, public toilets, kitchen, and the café bar area. Operating with a core focus on environmental sustainability, we worked to strict performance criteria to ensure the development achieved its target BREEAM Excellent rating, delivering an energy-efficient, high-comfort environment for the UK's largest independent hotel brand.

Delivering comprehensive mechanical services across an 11-storey high-rise development required precise co-ordination to serve multi-functional zones, from guest bedrooms to commercial kitchen and bar areas, while strictly adhering to ambitious BREEAM Excellent environmental benchmarks.

We designed and installed robust mechanical systems to balance guest comfort with strict environmental performance. Our scope encompassed complete ventilation, domestic water, and public health services engineered specifically for bedrooms, staff quarters, and high-traffic public hospitality areas.
